Plans for Christmas
Just a short entry this week you'll be pleased to hear. I thought that as more people were beginning to leave comments on the blog it might act as a useful forum in which to work out what everyone is doing over Christmas and New Year. This might allow us all to work out the best opportunities to meet up or plan joint activities. It would also be nice to hear from people who will be out of the country doing exciting things over the festive period(mentioning no names).
As for us, our plans are still in the early development stages. Tony is going to go up to Edinburgh to see Stan and Sarah on Wednesday of this week until Friday. We plan to spend Christmas morning on the farm and then, as is now traditional, we'll drive down to Barnsley for the evening. Doubtless we'll still get excited when we hear Chris Rea for the first time on the journey down. We are both particularly looking forward to seeing the Morris men on Boxing Day too. We'll be going to Margaret and Dave's party the day after but we still don't know what we're doing in the days afterwards. New Year in particular is still to be decided. Tony has been trying to sort something out with Bren for after Christmas but we haven't got anything definite yet.
We look forward to hearing what you are up to.

Hello there,
am enjoying your blog, thought you were going to sneak a Christmas present wish-list on there, but I see you've risen above it.
I haven't made many plans for the festive season; am landing in Leeds on Friday 22nd and staying at home till it gets too crowded - then I'll be moving on to Mary's house I think (Mary if you're reading this - I hope this is ok with you!). Boxing day with the Morris men sounds good (have been practicing dancing nimbly around empty beer bottles the whole year and think I'm in with a fighting chance), and Aunty Margaret's party is definately on the agenda. New year's eve? I'm just going to play it by ear - happy just to be at home with family. I'll see you both on Christmas day then?

Hello,
Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday Tony. We're going down to Yorkshire on Friday evening but won't be in Barnsley until Christmas eve. Will be down Hoyland for Christmas eve and then up to Midnight Mass. Off to Lisa's in Lincolnshire for Christmas day but should be back to see the Morris men on Boxing Day.
Don't go spending too much on my present this year.
Enjoying the blog but when are we going to hear from Gill?
Stan
Christmas plans, oooh it´ll be a busy one here. Already checked the cable TV schedule and we have Jonny Depp's Willy Wonka on which I´m looking forward to. You can buy Baileys here but at seven quid a bottle it´s a bit pricey compared to the one pound bottles of vodka. We have some lovely parks near the new flat so we may even picnic Christmas dinner! Did I mention we have a new phone by th way? Ho ho ho
Hi Tony & Gill,
Miceal here. I like your blog so far and I hope all is well for your travelling. Congrats on the graduation! Me and Alex are going to Alex's sisters for christmas and boxing day, and will be heading to Lincoln and up to Barnsley from there. Hope to see you in Lincoln.
Hi there
Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while. Nice to hear what you're both up to.
Just got back from Christmas (met Gary at the airport!) in the homeland and preparing to go to Brussels tomorrow. Train at blooming 4.43 am to take us to Eurostar. Don't quite know how that will work out.
Hope that you have a great new year - I'll definitely be in touch in 2007.
Have a great time
x
